Scope of Inspection
To undertake a visual assessment of the property to report on its general condition and to identify any significant defects or weathertightness risk features as at the time of inspection. This inspection includes a greater attention to detail in comparison to a standard building inspection because what may usually be acceptable for a home that has been lived in is often not acceptable for a ‘new build’. Includes items such as paint finish, fixtures/fittings, general wear and tear or damage that occurred during construction or from tradespeople on site.
This inspection is entirely non-invasive and relates exclusively to the building identified within the report. It is a record of observations on the day of inspection.
Scope of Inspection
To re-inspect one or more specific issues that were identified in our report that the client has since remedied. This inspection is entirely non-invasive and is a visual inspection only based on the finished surface appearance of the work carried out by a third party. If satisfied with the finished surface appearance, the inspector will amend the existing report and re-issue a new version to the client.
