Scope of Report: A visual assessment of the property was conducted to report on its general condition and to identify any significant defects or weathertightness risk features as at the time of inspection. This inspection was entirely non-invasive and relates exclusively to the building identified within the report. It is a record of observations on the day of inspection.

This price is for a single dwelling of no more than 270sqm and that does not include an additional self contained flat or sleep out. For properties over this floor size or that do have a self contained flat, sleep out or outbuildings included, we will forward a quote to you for your approval.

I acknowledge and agree: *

SMART inspected the property on the date that is specified on the report which is to be no more than 60 days prior to my request for a copy and has previously provided the Report to another client.

At my request, SMART has agreed to provide a copy of the Report addressed to me, but strictly on the condition that SMART's attached Terms and Conditions will apply to my purchase and use of a copy of the Report as though I was SMART’s client for the inspection for the Property on the Inspection Date and had agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. I confirm that I have read and accept that SMART's Terms and Conditions, including all provisions describing the limited scope of SMART's inspection and/or the limitations on SMART's liability, are binding on me.

The Report provides advice regarding the general condition of the building at the Property at the time of SMART's visual only, non-invasive inspection on the Inspection Date. SMART will not have any legal responsibility and I fully accept all risks in relation to: a. any deterioration in the condition of the building since SMART's inspection; b. any defects and/or damage and/or maintenance requirements having arisen which were not observable at the time of SMART's inspection, and without limiting the foregoing, the Client fully accepts all risk that: c. any defect and/or damage identified in the Report could have worsened; d. seismic movement and/or weather conditions could have occurred which could alter SMART's findings (particularly in relation to moisture detection and any thermal imaging) if SMART did an updated inspection.

SMART as the copyright owner of the report will be entitled to reproduce all or part of the report for a later client should it wish to do so.

Before delivery of the report, I agree to pay in full SMART's fee charged for the inspection.

The cost of this service is based per hour. We can give you a quote before proceeding if you would like.

The address of the property is outside our Queenstown catchment area, so will incur a travel charge additional to the price displayed below. We will be in touch to confirm this.
